Clear the way, another dense question from Shortie... What's the difference between Quick Reply and Reply (although as I'm typing I can see quick reply don't have the smilies and font choices...?

in quick Reply you use the box at the bottom of the page. as soon as you press the button "Post Quick Reply" the page updates and your post is seen at the bottom of the last page. you can use smilies if you now the keys to type.
If you hit "Post Reply" it takes you to the Advanced posting options where you can use all to dodads and options such as web links.
Sometimes if the Quick Reply "sticks" you still have to go to the Advanced option to post at all.

there are other options you can use. If you copy what you have writen into a word processing package some of the smiles will be translated to their basic form
