Ha! maybe my chillies will be up before this post then

I don't think it is due the volume of traffic because I've found it sluggish in the wee small hours too. As you say it is not all the time but a lot more frequent recently. Might it be the adverts that are overloading it?

Actually to be fair those strobe ones aren't there anymore. just GYO in house ads. Mmmm strange

But how many 'guests' are on the site at that time? Are the servers used by the Vine hosting anyone else?

So, erm why do we need 'guests' then? Apologies if this is a bit dumb/ old fashioned or I've got the wrong end of the stick.

I was raised to join and pay for what I want in life- I give my knowledge/opinion freely to other members- should they be interested; not to be scanned by marketing firms or freeloaders. Hell, it's free to join and you don't have to register anything but an e-mail address.

Not just this site, all the sites are slow. Everything slows down in cold weather(including ME). Too cold to go out, so peeps play on t'internet. The more peeps play, the slower t'internet gets. Don't complain to the forum webmaster, complain to your ISP's, they are the ones taking your money to provide the sevice. Blah! Blah! Humbug

Nah, not for me, plenty of other MBs are running fine - just this place is slow.

                Been very slow here to.
Perhaps the money from all the Google adds could be used to upgrade the servers or purchase more band width?
There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it in your future.

I've found that the internet full stop has been working really slow. However, this site in particular is slow and quite often it takes so long for a page to load up that my browser page is simply crashing out and I have to close down the internet and load it up again. Getting a bit frustrated with it now. Its not keeping me away tho!

Yes, It's got really slow in the evenings now, last night was so bad I gave up, thought it was my computer. Tried again this morning and everything fine, so it must be a traffic problem?
I always find accessing the internet at certain times, late afternoon say, is always slower but not had evening problems before now.

How is everything for you now?

I'll keep an eye on things to see if there is any more slow down and resolve the problems should it arise again.
