Still getting it slow Ben. Also just lately I find that when I click on first unread, it stays on the first post and I have to scroll down. Don't want to damage me scrolling finger!

I could be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off mark here but I don't think they're all people just having a nose around. Yup there will be a few of the 'Guests' number that are peeps having a look round the fab site, but I think alot are also search engines. i.e. when you do a google search on say, parsnips (hee hee, sorry couldn't resist )and it brings up GYO as a result, it's showing on here as a guest

Well, it's now doing the 'first unread' thing ok but it's still painfully slow.

Seemed very slow yesterday, I gave up & not much better today. I wasn't sure if it was because a lot of members were online at the same time or a problem with the site.

Mine's 'running' at a crawl. It took me the best part of five minutes just to connect and I was about to give up when it managed it. It's taking a very long time to open each topic that I want to read too.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

Hi everyone, We've turned a few dials, flicked a few switches and pushed a few buttons and the site's now running as normal... Apologlies for the brief 'snail-loading-speed' of the site.

                        Cheers,

                        Dave
