No seriously, if a cat wants to scratch there is bugger all you can do to stop them -scratch they will! I buy BFGT those scratchy mats that sit on the floor, he has taken a really likening to them - phew

T-Rex has shredded our leather suite. MK2 son wanted a cat, Mumsie supported him. I didn't... I wonder why?!? But anything for an easy life.

He has a scratching post but he stretches out and when he wakes up he stretches his claws too... He tried to scratch on the metal jukebox grille once. Two things happened... 1) I turned up the jukebox... 2) I left him there...
