The sun is shining so I have decided I can finally get the Nemaslug out of the fridge and water it in, except....

I can't find the rose for my watering can, but whilst I'm looking I notice buds on the Wisteria and I don't know if there are flowers or leaves.

Aha I think, I will ask the peeps on the thread, but where is the camera. Found the camera but the batteries have gone, whilst looking for the thousands of batteries that are somewhere in the house I notice the orchid I bought in Morrisons for 7.99, perhaps one of the peeps can tell me how to care for it. But I'll have to take a photo. Then the post arrives with the new seeds I bought so I sit down and read the bumf.

I've got nothing done, I've got to go in town and buy a watering rose and batteries thus wasting another hour. And to make it all worse I'm on the computer writing this and it's starting to rain again.

Does anyone else get sidetracked so easily - I feel like giving up on the whole day and going to lie down in a dark room and just THINK what I would do if I could get started.

Wow, so Im not alone then. I now feel my life has meaning.
I love procrastination, mindless puzzles, magazine questionairs arranging my CDs in alphabetic order so I dont have to clean the cooker.
Isnt it funny that you go to clean out a draw but get side tracked by a book you forgot about in there or a photo album you havent perused in a while or a kids toy you were supposed to fix and forgot about and where is that super glue?..................

        It's just happened again!

Went to Morrisons to buy rose and batteries and got stuck in plant section buying 8 florist type buckets for 98p (resisted contorted willow for 1.99). Managed to go past the chilled food section (why?!) so I bought something for lunch (well it will save me so much time), which is now cooking so I will have to take a lunch break.

THEN, nemaslug and photos and losing another hour or so managing to get the piccies small enough to post, well all part of the learning curve.

Since I'm here I'll ask a quick question - can I grow a pepper or chili in one of the florist type buckets (after I drill some holes), or is it too small.

Oh yes, and thanks for the support from alison and denise, who were sidetracked long enough to reply!

I even make lists of things to do if I have a spare five minutes and don't know what to do - cleaning out the drawers is on that list. When I do clean them out I will find the batteries.

Instead, I came on here to look a for a link Two_Sheds posted about public transport, and got side-tracked into to replying to you

LOL, you sound as bad as me! Yes you can grow peppers, chillies, tomatoes and cucumbers in those buckets. I have grown just about all veg in them - just drill some holes in the bottom and put in some gravel or broken crocks for drainage

I really should be writing a thousand word essay on varves in glacial lacustrine sediments but it is as boring as it sounds and I cant be bothered.

                Thanks Shirl.

I am now multitasking, eating whilst posting. I have just found out from their website that my instant lunch is worth 10 Weightwatchers points - for those of you not in the know that is about half a days allowance (oh yes, I don't just lose days talking on this site, I can be unfaithful and waste time elsewhere)

The sun is shining, just a few seconds ago it was raining so heavy it had lumps in it. I have taken the photos and will fiddle for hours shortly - but first, take cover little beasties, I'm coming to get ya (well they are, in about a week apparently, if it stays warmish)

And I thought I was bad! If we got together and had a real plan (and stuck to it!) we could be dangerous!

Meanwhile, I have smacked my slugs up, posted my plants queries and come back here to see how it is going.

And I have to let my lunch settle!

Top tip for giving cats tablets - stick it in their mouth, hold it shut, then squirt water in with a little syringe (needle-less one of course!). They just have to swallow, no choice! Works a treat
Just gotta get him to sit still for slathering with Sudocrem now...
