mad weather again today in my area, my faut i put the washing out after i finaly got all my pegs back from where the kids have been making tents out of 4 chairs and blankets, you name hail, rain, sun, wind, sorry guys
Yup, it got this far too -I'd just put my tomato seedlings out in my mini-greenhouse, weighed down with a bit of concrete (temporary solution while the actual greenhouse is lacking in glass), came back out 20 minutes later to find the greenhouse flat on its face, and the seedlings scattered everywhere.
I've repotted, and plead with them to survive - fingers crossed now!
Just been down me little lottie with a barrow load of compost from the dalek. I managed to dig half a bed when it came suddenly black and I did a runner for home (well, as much as you can run with a garden fork and a barrer!) Got settled in with a brew and it's gleaming sunshine again. Might go to greenhouse and do some potting-on.
hahahahahaha the image of flummery running in the hail pushing a barrow and a spade hope you had your wellies on, my time was spent in the plastic greenhouse pushing the hail off to prevent the roof sagging even more
We had a lovely bike ride this morning, got a bit sunstruck on our cheeks too ... just got indoors when we had a hailstorm - thunder and lightning and everything. Snadger's broadies have been brought in but are still sulking

Lovely day till 3 this afternoon, then the sky went black and we had enormous hailstones. No thunder or lightning, though. It's sunny again at the mo, but we've had heavy showers on and off since 4. Looks like it might be a cold night.
