my memory of that scan is not of Paul singing nicely to me but of tuu tunk tuu tunk tuu tunk

See mine sounded more like MARP, MARP, MARP, MARP, MARP, MARP. Or maybe it was a bit HARNK, HARNK, HARNK, HARNK, HARNK....
They had to put two MRI's end on end for me.
I have 5 weller albums, all his later stuff though, not really a Style Council or Jam fan I'm afraid.
Stanley Road for me, ace! Love The Jam too though, one of the things that made me laugh most when I first met OH was him managing to convince a bunch of people that he had been the drummer in The Jam - he wasn't born til 1969, so would've only been 10 when they released Eton Rifles He tell the kids it now, and they're half convinced!
Oh, bless you HW! The joys of being a big lad, eh?
I've loved Paul W since I was in ankle socks and gym slips He's only got better with age!
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."
