Anyone know how to crochet?

Wayne you should get her at it again (the crochet I mean!) as you can make lots of cute baby things in crochet & they take shape pretty fast so she wouldn't get discouraged.

Or maybe pickup the knitting needles and make a few small things like a blanket (there are some very easy ones out there), a hat or a cardigan.

Or even a nice scarf or throw for herself for over the winter months (nice and colourful to pop over plain clothes to make them more interesting and warmer). Layering, and accessorising are both essential tricks for this period for LW herself.
