I, however am too small to reach the top/perch/straddle..... and anyway, I am not so sure that the neighbours would take kindly to me climbing a step ladder to 'add' to the compost bin....I think the cold air may put me off also , so I use a very ladylike receptacle....well just a jug really!
I also have a couple of cleaned out plastic 1 litre milk bottles with lids in the little loo which have 'peeinme' written on them, just in case anyone else wishes to oblige....all to a good cause and all
All is good on the Bond compost front as far as I can see, have had a green johanna and 2 black dalek style compost bins worth so far this year!
We don't save every wee, and we have 7 different composters. Probably don't even deliver to them all every day. As for smell, I have never noticed anything, that would really put me off as I spend so much time in the garden.
I do too. I drive a lot for my job, so if i have my drinks bottle and am stuck in traffic i will end up going in my bottle Dont worry my drinks water bottle goes in the bin ones it gets used.
I have my compost bins next to my shed, that way I can stand in my shed doorway and just about reach the compost bins depending on which way the winds blowing!
My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)
My OH also provides his wee via an empty milk container - which is fine, except when my youngest had a friend over to play who told her Mum that we keep a bottle of Apple Juice in the bathroom...took a bit of explaining
