My thought was to take the plots while I could, I know it will take me several years more yet to get it all how I want it but provided I keep it all tidy, what's the problem.
I am fast growing toward my retirement (can't come soon enough) and I know that my medical conditions are going to impact the longer we go on, then if I can work on steadily now, then I will be able to hold the plots together in later years.
The thought of growing more than we can eat is no problem, I love giving excess away to friends and neighbours but I still have to get in before Milo (my Dalmation) can eat it off the plants.
He is really funny, he leaves everything alone untill I start cropping, then he's there trying to beat me to the best bits. Bloody dog will eat anything as well, absolutely not particular.
Bit of a lie that, he doesn't like my instant tea but bullies me for any variety of Cuppa Soup.
