I watched the first episide of Heroes and then missed the rest. Isn't it on quite late? Either that or there was something else on I wanted to watch.

I watched Lost up until a Polar bear appeared then gave up, or lost interest if you'll forgive the pun.

It is on quite late Wayne and, we are an hour later than you but it's still worth waiting up for (or taping)

Re Lost, I'm hoping Heroes doesn't go the same way. Season 1 was great but then I lost interest when it started to go (in my opinion) silly.

I've never seen the point of taping anything, as you then have to make space for it at some point later (never put off until tomorrow what you can do today - or something). I've never been bothered enough by missing anything enough to want to tape it.

Besides I disconnected our video after failing to tape something for a friend of mine whilst he was at the birth of his second child... (I couldn't work out how to tape from Sky).

I know what you mean. We bought one of those fancy DVD recorder thingies and we still can't work it. Can anyone lend us a five year old, they seem to be able to manage to work them

Yip, we got given a DVD recorder as a wedding present 3 1/2 years ago. I tried to record something once, and haven't tried since. Great DVD player though.
