  • Parents on a mission ...ETA 1 hour!!!

Got my parents coming up today. They are on a mission........... "Morale boosting trip to eldest daughter in Northamptonshire" Dun Dun Daaaarrrrr! Its going to be hard work so they will be staying tonight but "going back straight after breakfast" ha ha - not if the kids have anything to do with it!

Now the question is do I wash bedding in spare room (last slept on by them anyway) as I planned to do before my life disintigrated a week - OMG a whole week ago (must say I do think I am doing well) or do I go and do a spot (just a spot I promise) of gardening. What I really would like is a sleep as I feel like a zombie even though I did get Heywaynes NUT joke this morning!

Hope you all have a nice day, dont know how many times I will get to come and chat as Mum will probally start tutting, especialy if I introduce Dad to you, bless her!!!!

Leave the sheets - it's their own muck - won't kill 'em. Get a kip in kid, the garden will wait. Dream about seeds (like I do!)

    Good luck.

        Yep- sleep.
I'm sure your parents are arriving to help you get a rest and not be a job creation scheme of their own for you!!

DOOOO introduce your father- esp if he's got your sense of humour into the bargain!!!!

Sleep is what you need its your bodys way of telling you that you are doing too much.
Leave the sheets. my mum came for the day when my daughter was born and did the ironing trouble was it was stuff that didnt need to be ironed bless she was in her 80's at the time.

Take it easy Tammy. Plan the garden and get it all sorted in your head for when you are well enough to go do it. Your folks won't even notice the bedlinen hasn't been washed.

Enjoy their company and have a peaceful weekend.
                Happy Gardening,
                Shirley

                  Echo all that.

Mum and Dad will understand - sweet dreams.

Sorry couldnt get on earlier to reply headfry as computer was down!

The weekend went really well. Mum hoovered the whole house, tidying as she went and Dad gave the kitchen a good seeing to! They departed at Noon on Saturday, not before Dad had planted my runner beans though!!! Mind you; I only asked for some help filling up the tub (hope runners do ok in it) with rabbit poo then compost but next thing I know the canes were in and then the plants planted too!!!

My sister arrived with Fiance and his little girl (same age as Hannah - so they get on really well) just before M&D left and they then took us out for a meal.

Our "gardening grandad" (neighbour Joe) then arrived to weed and feed the lawn with Olivers help so I dont have to do too much bending on Wednesday which is Joes "paid" day.

BUT just as I thought I was doing really well, I fell apart on Sunday. Just went to peices in front of everyone - was a little embarasing at the time but at least all my friends know now so I wont get any awkward "hows the bump coming along" senarios which I was dreading.

Its good to be back on here -how was everyones weekend?

Glad it went well, you have every right to fall to pieces whenever you feel like it, you have had a traumatic time.

I would have febrezed the sheets and let them think they were clean
