  • Wildlife Garden Magazine due out

There is an advert in the new Lets Grow Veg issue 4 on page 39 for a new Wildlife Garden Magazine which is due out on 23rd May EXCLUSIVE to TESCOS.

10 packets of seeds free and a Free* birdwatching kit worth £30 (just pay P&P) as you often have to.

    Just thought I'd mention it.

I'm wondering if its from the same people as Grow Your Own mag..?

I’ve spent the last ten years boring every magazine industry person I met with my obsession: that someone could clean up if they started a mag called Garden Wildlife!

At least I can relax now - but what a pity it’s being done by Tesco, so it won’t be done properly.

The Mag is out. Its £7.99

And advertised by banner somewhere at the top of these forums.

Lots of seeds, two wall charts, 1 on birds, 1 on Squirrels, leaflet for bird food offers and lavender plants.

Same format as Lets Grow Veg, and by same people as well.

Saw the banner at the top of the page this morning, quite fancy a peek at that, but won't be buying it regularly at that price

What seeds has it got and what's included and how much is the p&p for the birdwatching kit? And over all, is it worth buying at £7.99???

I just bought it, the seeds are great you get

                  Sunflower
                  Sweet Pea
                  Scabious
                  Fortget me nots
                  Teasel
                  Sweet Sultan
                  Foxglove
                  Cornflower
                  Poppy
                  Honesty

I think thats great and the bird watching kit is £4.94 p & p, so i will be sending off for that, the posters are great for the kids to learn, so going to put that up in the kitchen, as we get birds, squirrels etc - lots and lots of them.

For a first time gardener, like me, i think its great, but propably not gonna buy it regularly, good for the offers though.

                    That's a book, not a magazine.

Seasprout has a link to "Grow Your Own Magazine" - what do you do, plant staples and transplant when they have two pages?
