Copper Tape

Hi Peeps,

What are your thoughts on copper tape? Have put it around all my oraange buckets but the sods still get through!

Was thinking of putting around loo rolls thus making cheap copper rings, views?

I really like copper tape, Ive not had a single slug in my pots since I started using it. You've got to keep wiping the tape tho. Perhapse the slugs are getting in through the bottom of your pots or maybe they were in the compost you put in.

i'm indifferent about copper tape..probably worked initially, put it all around my linkabord raised beds...but they still got in, and I wiped the tape also! one set of raised beds is on gravel...and it made no difference to slug `interference'! I'm trying beer traps (someone on the forum suggested yeast also) and I'll see what happens! I think if you do a search on the forum there will be more advice, as I'm sure this has been discussed before.
