My lottie is still almost entirely a mess of couch grass, bramble roots and bindweed but it makes me so happy! I've been down there today and (in no particular order of priority) I've seen a robin, recieved pats on the head from several older gentleman, noted that the plum tree I rescued from it's complete encasement in brambles now has leaves and blossom, given my son a ride in the wheelbarrow, dug out more roots than you could shake a spade at, planted some fruit bushes, got rained on, got dry again in the sun, whacked some grass down with my scythe thingy and day dreamed about the future.
I suspect such ravings might get funny looks elsewhere
so it's very nice to be amongst fellow devotees
