  • I Love Bootsales!!

Off we totted at 7.10am to the "Booty" and boy did I get some bargains!

The gardeners yearbook by Alan Titchmarch- £1
    RHS Gardening Manual- £1
    The greehouse expert- 10p
    2x tomato plants -60p
    15 x thompson and morgan seeds- £1.50

If only I could go everyweek! Atleast this haul made up for the loss of my entire delphinium crop, and 13 dead bare roots from B&Q.

Sorry to hear about your B&Q sticks, don't suppose you kept the receipt..?

The books were as new- I think people must get them as gifts for christmas then they just sell them on. The tomatoes were from an 'ole boy' - left over from his allotment. And the seeds were from a joblot, 10p each - i could have stood at that stall for ages but the anklebiters were moaning. I thoughly recommend going at this time of year because everyone is clearing out their stuff so theres loads of bargains to be had.

I was really annoyed with those B&Q sticks- I've been tenderly caring for them for 3 months!!! No receipt sadly but I did keep all the packaging. I emailed them but of course they haven't replied.

      BTW, Hows the worms doing?
