  • Just for a bit of fun

Think in terms of "degrees of seperation" - we're all linked somehow.

Here's my random fact: "Sailing" by Rod Stewart was No1 when I was born.

Now, the next person to post has to be able to link to this somehow with a fact about themselves that can be tenuously (or not) linked to the previous fact.

I was born on the last day of September when:

my dad loved Rod Stewart and one of the few memories of him from when I was little (he left when I was 4) is us singing Sailing together.

That sailing record drives me nut's!!! Years ago my next door neighbour played it at high volume over and over i Lived in a terraced house with thin walls and neighbour's on the other side of me came and complained to me to turn it down and They came in and realised it wasnt me but next door !!!! That record now makes me cry (doesnt everything!) as it was played at my Great Uncles funeral - the most cheerful, fun man I ever knew.

This isn't quite what I'd planned.

                      Supposed to go like this:

HW says: Sailing was No1 when I was born.
Grape1 says: I was born on a yacht
Grape2 says: My uncles' yacht is called The Grapevine
Grape3 says: Our first dance was to "Heard it Through the Grapevine" - Marvin Gaye
Grape4 says: I once met Graham Norton on holiday in Spain
Grape5 says: My brother had his first crash on a Norton Classic

                      and so on.

Not all replies have to link to Rod Stewart - Sailing, just the previous post.
