Apart from gardening, I'd class my hobbies as reading (extensively!), cooking and baking (obviously do this every day, but I actually enjoy it), walking and camping, and "the dogs".

My dogs are my other main hobby really, as I do lots of dog training with them, am involved in our training club committee, and hope to eventually learn to be a dog trainer.

Oh, and I also work full time as well as all that!

I have just started making my own greetings cards. I have been encouraged by my Mum who bought just about everything I needed on her last visit. Hoping to produce all my own Christmas cards this year.

oh.. forgot cooking/baking.. learning and experimenting as much as possible now so I'm ready when i actually get to harvest stuff off my plot.. OH is worried i'm gonna make him fat cos I keep making him cakes and i'm a voracious reader.. if not very choosy.. will read the back of cereal packs at breakfast if i don't have a book/paper.. and a compulsive book collector.. tend to have favourite subjects.. currently gardening and cooking.. come home from the oxfam book shop with a book on one or the other most weekends... in a not attempting (and usually failing) to be a domestic goddess way I also like bike riding (pedal.. any faster would scare me

Mine are: sewing, pottery, quilting, knitting, reading, baking, cooking, swimming and a couple more (but can only be done once in a while) such as snorkeling, fishing and boating... I miss them a lot !!!

I do the garden of course, veg goes as unsaid, have a new found interest in flowers this year, cross stitch, crochet, lots of involvement at primary school, and trying to keep up with the knitting subscription magazine thingy.

I find it hard to do time management as when March/April arrives, everything other than plants/flowers/gardens and all related activities takes a back seat and that means catch up time later on in the year.

The garden rocks! Sunshine rocks! Being outside totally rocks! I can see why people get down during the winter months

Quilting - I'm exhibiting a double bed sized creation at the Festival of Quilts (yes, really!) this year.
Singing - I'm a member of a choral society and we do about 3 concerts a year. People actually pay!
Reading - founder member of the village Book Group.
Cooking/baking - have just suggested a village Cake Club. You take it in turns to bake a cake and produce a morning coffee/afternoon tea. This also uses the village hall which is seeking more bookings. Many of our retired villagers love to bake but live alone or with one other and can't sensibly eat a whole cake. This way, you get to bake and you get to try other people's recipes (and you never have to stuff the lot and feel guilty.) I only suggested this last week so we'll see if it gets going.
T'ai Chi -in the village hall
Flower arranging - attend a class - also village hall.
Taking photos and making cards from them.
Natural History - member of local society.

This is why I don't have time for housework!

I started allotmenteering as I had a distinct lack of hobbies, I now feel like I need more. Hobbies are drugs, drugs are bad m'kay?

Various things I like to do, not sure I'd class any of them as hobbies.
