You should definitely have an email address dedicated to freecycle, and nothing else. I get 50-100 messages every day, but they are in their own email addy, and so don't interfere with my other emails.

      Nice One! And good luck.

Hi Shirl, there is a guy in Hereford which will come and dismantle it and recommission it in its new home for around £200. This maybe beyond what you want to spend, I don't know but I have moved a number of rayburn's in my time and they are around 500kg. The only real advantage to the aga is that it can be taken apart, to make it lighter. If you're gonna try yourselves, scaffolding poles will stand upto its weight, its much easier to roll than lift.

        You lucky dab you.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

My Sister and I had Wabbits (Gerbils/Guinea Pigs etc) when we were kids. They were lovely and friendly, and really tame. Apart from the one that liked to try and h*mp our Tom Cat! But he was fine the rest of the time.

A neighbour gave us her Rabbit when she lost interest - it was HUGE and really nasty. Would scratch all your skin off, and bite whatever part of you it could reach. I think it just needed handling (with gloves!) and a bit of attention. She never was as friendly as our male Bun, but she got better once she trusted us. I believe the females are worse than the males.

                In short: perseverance, or ...pie!

Sorry to hijack the thread... X

i've always had mostly female bunnies, and they have always been lovely ..... did get my lip pierced by a male bunny, once, my fault he was fighting through cage bars, and i picked him up, and he thought i was a bunny i think ....... she'll get there eventually, she spends lots of time i'm in the living room in the play pen, and i stroke her every time i pass, and feed her stuff, one day she'll be my mate
