I thought every one whacked them on the big end. I have even taught my grandchildren to do it.

I saw this thread yesterday when I was away, and can't believe that people still argue about it...I though it was proven donkeys years ago that the little end is the way to go.

I was always taught you keep eggs narrow end down so that the yolk stays centered.
As to which way up it should be after cooking so you can eat it - do I care! As long as the yolk is runny it matters not a jot!
