I've spent most of the day ironing. While Steve was away the house got left to go to ruin as I was a complete basket case, now he's home we are getting things sorted before we both go back to work.
I must be a bit abnormal cos I quite like ironing, find it relaxing, put a DVD in and away I go...

I can rearrange the creases without the aid of an iron!
The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

Simple - ironing clothes is a relentless, never ending task - totally thankless as the rotton horrors go and wear all the clothes and make you do the job again.

Quilting fabric is ideas and creativity and making something beautiful and practical out of scraps and waste work - all very positive and calming.

The weeks and the years are fine. It's the days I can't cope with!

Piskie sweetheart, it's far too hot to iron now! Throw the t-shirt away & buy one that doesn't need ironing! (That's what I do!)

i put extra pegs on clothes when hanging on the line to pull items flat so they require no ironing or very little if its jeans or i use a few down stairs radiators in wet weather and lay things on as flat as possible to get same result, i do very little ironing and i have a cheats ironing board where the ironing board heats up as well as iron so you only have to iron one side,ha ha wouldnt dream of ironing in weather we just had, i do it in the evening while watching tv when adverts are on. once did it as a job in a factory in my teens i must have been mad although i saw the light as i quit after very short space of time.
