In 1976 when I started nursing, the word bariatric was unheard of.
Had never heard of the word myself until about 5 mins ago.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Did have one patient that needed to go to hosp about 7 yrs ago now, the firemen took out the front bay windows as the ambulance crew could not get the patient out the conventional way.
Shame they don't take out the top of doors for us that belt us heads on them. Ain't my fault the doors were made too small!
One other bit that made me chuckle - rightly or wrongly, was the way the teenager got out of the chair and his @rse (which was the size of a small family car) seemed to be permanently moulded to the shape of the chair - it even defied gravity to an extent!!
