Yep, been raining through the night here too, and on and off this morning.
Am i allowed to complain about the rain and missing the warm weather yet????

Yep, after bemoaning the lack of rain I'm now fed up as I'd planned a full day on the lottie and it's pouring down. Still, I might now be able to persuade OH to do a bit of decorating. He finished the sitting room at Easter and, flushed with success, immediately started the hall, stairs and landing. Unfortunately this enthusiasm only lasted an afternoon. I may have to resort to my earlier strategy and arrange for the new carpet to be fitted, forcing him to get on with it.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

Why is it one extreme to another?
Sunburn last weekend, heating on again this weekend. It's ruddy freezing.

Cold, damp and miserable. I'm aching in every joint, it can't just be from my op on Monday, cos they didn't fiddle with everything! I resorted to my prescription anti-imflammatories which I haven't needed for ages, and then went to sleep. Horrible week, OH said it just goes to show how bad I feel when I don't even WANT to do anything in the garden. I've even got the heating on!
I should be pleased that the water butts have filled up, and the beans have romped away with the extra water, but horror of horrors, I don't even care Tell me I'll be back to normal soon!
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

Cold, damp and wet, not fair! Mr D got almost a full week of sun on the plot, and when I get a weekend off it rains so much that I cant do anything! Grr!!

I did manage to sow some more seeds in the greenhouse at home, but its too wet to do anything on the plot, so have even resorted to doing some housework!
