its a glorious day here, so going to try and summon some help from OH and see if we can get anything done in the garden today. Maybe he will put the potatoes in, and I can dig the buttercups out of the strawberry patch by hand

Yes, lovely in Glasgow, if a little cold so far. Looking forward to a day's gardening, so trying to get the housework done quickly. The ironing might be ignored once again... -

Lovely here too, but the wind is a bit cold. I ventured out and snipped few bits off the grapevine, but even that made me feel a bit wobbly, so as everyone else is still asleep thougth I better come in. Well, no help, so the potatoes still aren't in the ground!
borrowed my daughters little wooden chair and sat on that with my foot out, and dug 3 buckets of weeds out of the strawberry patch, probably another 3 buckets to go, but had to stop as it started to rainComment
