  • Made anyone smile recently?

Yesterday I spent about 6 hours driving round with my brother-in-law trying to find him a new car.

Sounds fairly innocuous I know, that is until you realise that he was driving his now sold Nissan Micra (not the new shape one), and that he is about 6ft 4/5 and weighs about 23 st, I was in the passenger seat at 6ft 7 weighing in at just under 18st.

The amount of dealers that made comment when we prised ourselves out of the car. Made all of them smile!

We each had an elbow out of our respective window, shoulder to shoulder and heads up in the sunroof cavity. Must look quite amusing I guess...

on Sunday morning, was whipping round the ward, finishing off my jobs when one of the patients asked whether I would be in that night. I replied that no I wouldn't, and that I was going to get a couple of hour sleep then drag them family down the lottie. "Oh, do you grow veg?" the patient replied, this sparked off a lovely conversation between 3 or 4 of the chaps in the bay over who was growing what, techniques etc that was still going on when I went in to say goodbye 30 mins later! Made me smile!

PS Wayne you always make me smile!

Imagination is everything, it is a preview of what is to become.

Snowdrop - daily, but not sure if it's a smile as in 'ah, love her' or wind

The mental picture you've painted has made me smile Wayne. Can you both squeeze into a telephone box together as well?

Are there any telephone boxes left?

130 rural phone boxes to be axed - Northampton Chronicle and Echo

I did a job at a customers house the other day, and they had a working one at the bottom of the garden. It was about 200metre walk back to the house so I could see the benefit. It was the only one I have ever been in that didn't smell of wee though.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

I make people laugh daily, well 3-4 year olds anyway! do they count??

Its even funny when my kids make up funny words with my name - generally I am known as Mrs Clark, but the kids change this to Mrs Clock or even, Mrs Cock!!! Well they think they are funny!

                            SS

ps.I am also always doing totally stupid and random things!

pps. I live the idea of wayne and his BIL in a Mini ha ha ! not the clubman though too much room, more like a Cooper!

He called earlier to confirm he has put a deposit down on a Laguna (a good buy in my opinion - given his budget and criteria).

I love the idea of owning a mini - just for irony value.

Driven a Smart before now - loads of room...
