  • Gardening website - what would you want?

I would like to build a gardening website so that i can learn as much as possible in a very short time, and build a gardening community, but what would you as site readers and writers want from a site? in terms of functionality, design, etc etc?

Isn't that a bit like walking into a Ford dealership and stating "I'd like to build a car...."

No offense intended. I can assure you. Plus its better than going into a car dealership asking them about what they want from a gardening website .... :-)

I have just what I want/need - it is called the Grapevine! Used to belong to other gardening sites but now just refer to the vine - friendly people and lots of great advice - what more could you want

I don't think anyone would take offence to your request gary, well maybe a couple, but they're always miserable and just like a fight!

As shirl says, it's got pretty much all you need on here. If it's not on here, you can pretty much bet your bottom dollar, someone will know where to find it.

Bedfordshire's a bit of a no-mans-land. Sometimes we are included as part of East Anglia, sometimes simply the South East, other times it's Northen Home Counties, then just yesterday I was seraching a car showroom website and Bedfordshire was listed as part of the East Midlands....

So to have found it on a map, you've done quite well!

Thanks for reading the blog, I wouldn't necessarily look for tips there though if I was you. I'm new to this despite the post count (I just like to natter see).
