See Alan's had his 'hair' done!
Joe & Alan have just shown off their presents of biscuits - Carole was there but she didn't get any! How come? I reckon Carole ought to be the next 'head' of GW. But I fear it will be 'chav friendly' JS.Last edited by smallblueplanet; 22-05-2008, 08:59 PM.To see a world in a grain of sand

I thought Chelsea was better than ever this year, but Alan did look as though he was auditioning for a part as an ageing teddy boy.
Sorry chops - still love you lots.
Saw Chris Beardshaw in Londom this week as I was staying at the same hotel. He's really small and skinny. Cute, but small and skinny. Maybe we could have Carol, Chris, Sarah and Joe on Fridays with the occasional guest - but please - not Christine.

I'm trawling through all the BBC recordings of Chelsea, but they repeat half of yesterday's programme on today's, so I'm FFWDing through most of it. I think they could've reduced the coverage by half, easily.
But gardening is gardening, I'm grateful for any coverage at all.
MiL said she'd like to go, but I hate crowds, so I'll try and steer her to a less-trendy show, poss.Malvern? All gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.

I thought the show gardens were pretty impressive this year (only on TV - I haven't been there 'in the flesh'). My only real gripe about the coverage on the TV is the time taken up by Wesley wossisname travelling all over the world. Less Wesley, more time in the Marquee with the plant specialists! Oh, and less Laurance Llewellyn Bowen & more gardeners, please!

Pathetic isn't it?Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
