help ants in compost bin

Help got ants in my compost bin, any advice, do I leave the lid off to chill them out.....

thought that bugs help to break down the compost, so ants are probably as good as any other.

I've got them in mine too, like claire72, I thought they would help break things down

we get them when the weather warmes up,just think how they bring the fine stuff to to top when they are active,have a look in the bin every now and then,you will see the difference,they go as quick as they arrive.
