  • A Very Blonde Moment

There I was in the garden, listening to my MP3 player with cord dangling whilst cutting the edges of my lawn with shears..... Suddenly, it went very quiet

Ooops! Can you get some more ear thingys? Will it be expensive? I actually don't have anything like this, except my car radio and that's fine by me. I just really enjoy listening to the birds when I'm on the lottie or in my garden, but that's just me. Bernie

I would have preferred to listen to birds too but was out in garden and next door but one's daughter was insisting that the whole neighbourhood should be treated to her music. This hardly ever happens so better to just listen to my music. OH is an electrician so hoping he will be able to fix earplugs. If he can fix plug to now short piece of flex at least it won't dangle.

At least it wasnt anything that would give you a shock, try threading the wires through your top.

I have felt like cutting through my headphones at times - usually when I have just finished making/taking a call here and get up to make a cup of tea and arggggh ..... I now have wireless 'phones

Any earphones laying around here get eaten by the cats. Matt forgot when he came home from uni for Christmas, lost 2 pairs. I've lost count of how many times I've warned them!
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

haha that's funny how sometimes ones gets carried on

I tried to be careful now as I hurt myself many time trying to cut / make holes in a plastic bottle for example, or walking to the rake lying around....

Just after we got married, I accidentally stood on the end of the rake (it was covered in snow at the time - don't ask!). It went through one of the lenses of my specs and it took my OH ages and ages to persuade me to open my eye. I wouldn't let him take me to hospital, as it turned out, a tiny piece of the lens covering was in my eye, which he got out. Phew!
Guess whos been EXTREMELY careful ever since when Im near a rake!

Yep, try to convince kids (who always volunteer to rake as they think it's the easiest job) that the rake-in-the-face thing is not an invention of cartoons.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.
