Sorry, Guys. It's all my fault! Having had our old, but trusty, hope-pipe pinched from the plot last year, we were lent a neighbouring plot holder's 'second best' one. Unfortunately it has so many holes it's more like a sprinkler system, so yesterday off I went to buy a super top-of-the-range job, 'guaranteed kink-free', lots of attachments and a dinky little cart so it can be dragged back to the car and taken home when not in use......I'm not going to need it any time soon am I?
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.
The rain that we had forecast for here tomorrow & Monday has now totally vanished!! Aaaaagh! Who's nicked me rain??!! Apparently it's coming Tuesday, or maybe Wednesday instead That ruins all of MY plans now! And means another 2 or 3 days of carrying cans of water for miles
i had a birthday a wedding a birth and a pregancy to celebrate over the weekend now im knackered, moms birthday, bride and groom off for 4 days im kula lumpa then ten days in bali, one cesarean of a boy 6lb 4oz, (after her 6th attempt all natural as well bless her meaning no i.v.f.) and a pregancy for a relative who was told couldnt have children so celebrations all round and im knackered spending today vegging and tending any seedlings and thats it
sarzwix i nicked your rain i now have 3 full waterbutts and 2x 40 litre tanks full plus all watering cans all ready and full too and they were all empty on fri not a drop in them im soo happy
I have everyone's rain.
Unfortunately it is coming straight through the roof and into the bedroom, kitchen and the spare bedroom that we never dare go into (too much rain has rotted the timbers)
PLEASE make it stop.......
I am tired of emptying buckets and pans and tupperware at 3am!!!
It is also knocking over my spuds and has defeated the broom (shrub not cleaning implement!)
Any roofers fancy a working hol??
Yours in a mac,
Tx
p.s. it isn't even a bank holiday here!
