Hi Sue, hope it wasn't anything too serious (always a bit wary of asking what was wrong, but if you want to share any gory details feel free!) and you're all better now...?
My daughter has had tonsilitus this week and hubby has 'food poisoning' (self diagnosed....) - from his own cooking I might add - and everyone else was fine after eating the same thing...

Hello Vegetable Newbie, glad you are back home and hope all is OK with you. Hospital is another world isn't it, especially if it was your first time. I was in overnight a couple of weeks back having my wrist repaired. A brand new hospital and they didn't even have a sling to send me home in!!! Hope you will soon be digging and planting. Sanjo

Hope you are on the mend and getting back to your garden! I have been in hospital loads (2 complicated pregnancies, 2 c-sections, tonsils, ectopic, all in the space of 5 years!) Had never been before. Always LOVELY to get back home and into my own bed! And only have to listen to OH smoring and not a dozen other people (I always take earplugs in when I have to go now and an eye mask!)

I had an infected carbunkel which led to cellulitus (Scuse spelling). They were concerned it was a deeper problem but touch wood all appears to be on the mend - defienlty getting better. Hospital for the first time is most definelty an eye opener. I was over the moon to get home.
Thank you all for your lovely words.

Sorry to hear you've been poorly, take it easy while you get back to strength. Let other people show you they care by helping. I'm really bad at this myself, as soon as I'm feeling a little better, I try to carry on as before. Its not always the quickest way to recovery!
                  Best wishes, Ann
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
