  • Jimmy's Farm

    Has anyone been?

LadyWayne and I are spending a night at a hotel not too far away, and are considering popping in to visit.

    Any recommendations?

we've been a couple of times, free to wander the shop but £10 for a family of 4 to do the nature trail.it's o.k but be prepared 4 some hefty prices in the farm shop!we've just got back from e really nice farm shop between hadliegh & Lavenham(nr Ipswich)called Hallow tree farm, doesn't have the same fame as Jimmy's but the farm trail is free & shop prices not as huge as jimmy's!

We're actually staying at this place: Welcome to Tuddenham Mill which is close to Newmarket, but is still closer to Jimmy's than where we live. The one you talk about would be closer to us still - could you let me know what it's called please?

That's better! Length of beds reminds me of our honeymoon - first night on our way up to Scotland was spent in a Glasgow hotel where I swear the bed was 5' long. I'm nearly 5' 10" and himself is taller. I think it was a joke bed for English people. Not that you sleep much on your honeymoon though eh?

Lauren and I went last October. Shop pricey, but the peppered steak, lamb gurkha and pannington suasages are well worth the price. Absolutely scrummy.
Kids and me enjoyed the nature trail. Took a picnic though to save dosh.

Newmarket not far from us only about 10 minutes, high street has got a few fab little shops as well as the normal chain stores. Hope you and the Mrs have a great time.

Ive had Sausages from there bought from a food show near me, they were Expensive, tasty and very oily...in that order.

OK website as well.. Jimmy's farm and home of the Essex Pig

Always bothers me they are desperate for staff in important roles to start immediately.
