I will be watching as I love my footy!
My heart tells me Italy[my great grandfather was Italian] but more importantly my head and pocket say Spain.
Would love to hear your opions.

If we aren't in it (and I asusme Scotland and Wales and Ireland aren't either) then why are all the matches being shown on our tv's?

Not that I am bothered if they are on or not, I don't really watch much telly.

I couldnt think of anything worse to watch, at least our Rugby boys got to the final!!

I would only watch the England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland Games and none of the others, why would I want to cheer on someone else????

I was actually looking forward to having a summer without football, being able to live the summer without all the usual paraphernalia that goes with it.

Imagine my dismay when they started advertising it on telly.

I think this clip from Mitchell & Webb sums it up for me: YouTube - Mitchell & Webb - Football, Football, Football

                To answer the orginal question...

My money is on France and Croatia. I like the look of the youngsters France have coming through and for me have the right blend of youth and experience and at 9/1 are a good bet.

Also done Croatia although they will miss Eduardo as I firmly believe they are in the top 4 sides in Europe at the minute. They are 14/1 and I fully expect a good run for my money.

Well, I know its tough but I've been watching the comp for years and my team is never in it. You guys just need to get a sense of perspective, when you watch a premiership game how many of those players are English!!

I remember seeing a statistic in the chamions league when they got to the 1/4 final stage, and there were 4 English sides left in, but there were more Brazilian players than any other nation.

When you watch the Euro's it will be like watching a couple of weeks of premier league, but slower. Portugal for me.

Well Peep's, hate to say it but my money is on France. and I think all premier clubs should take a leaf out of Aston Villa's book for their fantastic youth acadamy, the only other I can think of is that of Leeds United. Other clubs have good acadamys but they just send the players out to lower division which is fine for first team footbal but how many do you see coming back in to the top flight. anyway back to original thread France I think will lift the trophy.

My money is on me not watching it at all and the OH watching it whenever he can. i just showed him that mitchell and webb clip and told him that was what it is like for me and he went off to finish cooking my dinner laughing.

At least I'll get some peace and quiet down the lottie as presumably the old boys will also be watching it.

Spain are 11/4 to get into the finals.
Germany are Fav's at 7/4 to get into the finals.

Still looking for odds to win.
