i say every year "never again" but i always do, good job they have to grow their own and recycle, they should get them a compost bin as well, i bet someone though has already grown the veg, they may just have to harvest it, otherwise they wont eat until the end of the programme!!

piskie, its funny really!! i think i would make a great contestant, well so people tell me, i dont honestly know what they are getting at lol!!
i remember the first year they had chickens, they gave them names and one became ill which was a shame, then they gave up on the livestock, well apart from the animals in the show!!

I remember a couple of years ago, I was up in the middle of the night, and flicking through the channels when I came across the BB house, a camera monitoring the house. They were just all in bed asleep, really good TV, boring enough to send me back to my bed.
I've never watched the 'more interesting' bits, but I have been put off anyway by the newspaper stories. They are probably exaggerated I know, but...Last edited by BarleySugar; 04-06-2008, 07:13 PM.I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

If they have to grow their own veg, then I hope the standard of the participants is a lot higher than the "celebrities" who have been on the last few series. As HeyWayne says, most of them would have problems growing their own toenails!!!

Unless they're going to live on mustard and cress I think it probably means that they'll really just pick their own. Fortunately I haven't been subjected to this tosh since my daughter left home, but I remember a family holiday back during the first series when she spent the whole time on her mobile asking her friends what the latest 'news' was from the BB house, and sulking because we wouldn't go home a day earlier than planned so she could watch the final. If subsequent series have been as bad then I can't understand why it's still being shown. Even my daughter now realizes what rubbish it is.Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.
