I live in a suburb of Preston and the house deeds preclude poulty. I liked the post about getting round this. If I ever move we will have Chickens.
Also Bees, how about a forum on bees.
Expect the worst in life and you will probably have under estimated!
hi with regards to bee`s i have a new house so dont have the air bricks just a small plastic pipe that sits between the motar above the windows and i have bees in these tubes, in a blind panic my house was infested i contacted the council who said they were solitary bees and very good for the garden, to leave them alone and next year cover the holes with mesh and buy a bug box for them as they will come back. sorry i cant answer yours deeds and chicken problem.
I think the Bee Forum would be a no no I'm afriad. We're trying to keep the number of seperate boards down. Bees seem to fall quite nicely under the 'Wildlife Gardening' Board

Hi Jimmy, I am a bee keeper, as others have said - take a look in the 'wild life' section
Would be good if we could have some kind of sub folder, to keep all bee bits together and same for other postings ie, frogs, birds etc.
Bees are great! My girls were very busy over the weekend. I am hoping to go in the hive tonight to have a look and see what they have been up to over the past week. With a little luck my new queen will have started laying????? oh my fingers are tightly crossed.
Waiting for a swarm so that I can start hive no 2, which is standing in the dining room at the moment........waiting
