It has finally dawned on me that I'm a seed and plant addict
I love'em and can't get enough of them! The problem is that I'm running out of space to plant everything though. I got some bargains in the T&M half price sale- 92 delphiniums and 42 aquilegia. Anyway T&M messed up my order and sent me a mystery pack of 42 plants as well. I got the delphs because snails ate my batch of seedings- well now I've noticed that they have recovered so I've got 20 more! Where on earth am I going to plant them all? I've not even thought about the 10 echinachea, 15 lupins and 30odd hollyhocks that I've got to plant out.
I haven't the heart to throw away thinned out seedlings. My family don't garden, the neighbours all have low maintence gardens- no flowers, so I have no one to give them away too. Anyway they are my babies- i can't bear to be parted with them. I can't dig up under performing plants, tulips and blind daffs in my existing beds just in case they do better next year.
I'm not even going to get started on the seed box
I wish i had an allotment, but I've got kids instead. Timothy (just turned 2) would be a nightmare on a plot.
So i live in hope that my new estate garden will miraculously grow in size!
