We've a Wolf Push / Pull Hoe and its absolutely fab! It has 2 blades, so can be used in both a forwards and backward motion, which means its very east to use, plus as its only 4' wide its easy to plant things with enough room to hoe between (especially as its so easy and accurate to use, especially when pulling it backwards!) I know the Wolf tools arent cheap, but the Hoe and Rotorvator are my absolute must haves and save sooo much time you wouldnt believe!Blessings

Your welcome Piskie!
Here's a link to the push pull hoe
World of Wolf - Wolf Garten Small Push-Pull Weeder - RFM 10 Width - 10cm Wavy dual edge blade works backwards and forwards below soil level cutting through weeds. Sideguards let you work close to plants without damaging them.
and another to the rotorvator
World of Wolf - Wolf Garten Soil Miller - DAM Width - 15cm Crumbles soil into a fine tilth for sowing seeds or planting. Mixes peat, manure and fertiliser into the soil. Rear Blade keeps tool at a constant depth.
They often have them on offer in the GC's locally, with a free handle if you buy 2 heads, and of course it makes it much easier to transport them as you only need to take one handle plus any heads you want. Absolutely the best money we've ever spent on tools for the plots!!Blessings

Yep, the tiller / rotorvator allows me to make a fine tilth in a largish bed (10' by 8') in less than 20 minutes, its brill! Good luck on getting Madmax to get them for you!Blessings

Apart from anything else, I am DETERMINED to have as much of the Chirstmas Dinner veggies from our own plot (and the majority of them fresh rather than frozen) as is humanly possible!

In the meantime, I will keep eating the fresh stuff as it comes good. We can't do 365 days, but we aim for hopefully at least a couple of dinners per week, every week all year round.
I bet this will come across all wrong when you read it - me being useless at written banter...

The reason I blistered my palm, was due the fact I was spearing the concrete(soil) with my hoe, instead of going home to get the fork.
Its one of those situations you go over the plot to do one thing and decide to do something else while your there aswell.I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.
