  • I'm Back!

    To all and sundry,
I have returned, my laptop is now back, my back is on the bed and my feet are wandering through the gravel beds of my garden (pics to follow soon). I am watching the ornamental chicory go mad, praying for a little rain to fill my empty butts, noticing that my outdoor toms are going crazy, my chillies are the best ever and so are my courgette plants (but no courgettes yet!). I have dabbled with sweetcorn for the first time (2 plants for seed) and they are going a storm along with my sweetpeas but my french beans have been a let down and so are my onions.

So I am back, to talk all things gardening, all things soil and succulent, cutivating compost between my toes and eating countless raspberries, strawberries and cherries.

A little anecdote, I was harvesting my cherry tree last night and neighbour said, 'Oh, don't take all of them, I was going to grab some as I passed?' My response was in the vernacular - how come people who think growing veg and fruit is so hard, instantly think they can just help themselves?

Hope you are all well, sorry to read about Jaxom and wish a speedy recovery to him.

    Summer is in full swing!
    Best wishes

Nick but you're the Guru, you have transcended insults and should have moved to full nuclear deployment or salad dressing tossing.
            Best wishes
