Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this, but I wasn't sure where to put it. I have the use of half of my landlady's polytunnel. Which isn't much and I was wondering about renting a field off one of the local farmers for a few years to grow veg and keep chickens. But I have no idea of how much a field rental would be, when I ask my neighbouring farmer, I would like a rough idea of rentals before hand. Anyone have any ideas, I am in the mid west wales area.

I think a whole field may be a bit much to manage, I have a medium sized veg garden which has been used as a veg garden for donkeys years so is really easy (relatively speaking) to dig, but still struggle to keep on top of it.
As for cost, I don't have a clue, but it could be very costly indeed, there are prices over in the allotment section for allotments and they are high enough without multiplying it for a field!
However, your blog looks good, you should add some photos though
