Well, I've had them for five days now, and I'm getting used to them apart from using the computer, it's really difficult to get the screen at the right distance and find I have to ignore the peripheral view or I get motion sickness!!

Heading up to Norfolk this Friday for a long weekend with parents. Going on a coach, so it'll be interesting to see how that goes - I tried varifocals many years ago and got travel sick in the car!!! I'll take the old bifocals with me just in case....

I have had mine for about 6 months.

Given up trying to use a pc with them on. Can't focus properly, and can't be bothered adjusting chair etc.

Apart from that fine, took a little getting used to.

I do have to take them off in most shops as the lighting seems really wierd and hurts my eyes.

I tried them earlier in the year at the same time as a a friend at school. We were talking and i said I wasn't really feeling human, very impatient with everything. I went back several times and they tried adjusting etc, but eventually i ended up with a migraine that lasted 3 days, and I had to take time off. I've ended up with 2 pairs, but I keep forgetting the reading ones, leave them everywhere I REALLY wanted them to work, my OH gets along fine with them, so it wasn't that I expected to have probs. Strange thing was, she eventually gave up too.
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
