God I love Marmite. I very very slightly distrust people who only have a thin scraping though - it's like they can't commit to it properly. I actually take it with me on overnight stays sometimes. (why admit to this, Rhona, why?)
    I don't roll on Shabbos

My other / better half (delete whichever you want) loves Marmite whereas Iona and myself cannot stand the stuff - and as Naimh is only 5 months old she has no opinion as yet !
Now - peanut butter! Crunchy is good but smooth is better. Spread on thick crusty bread then smeared with some home made chilli sauce (recipe gleaned from this very forum and made with last years home grown Jalapeno chillies) - just dewonderful !! Like a Satay Sandwich

Plonker Piskie, it's not a mixture.

            Marmite is a yeast EXTRACT.

The yeast can be obtained from breweries as loads of it is generated durin the brewing process and then settled or filtered out of the final product.

Guiness Marmite was a special run made from yeast from Guiness brewing.

So Champagne Marmite should be made from yeast sediment from the initial brewing of Champagne.

Champagne - yes (discovered I REALLY loved it when sis got me a bottle of
                  Moet for birthday last year)

Marmite - no. Himself and Lauren b love it, as do his boys, but I could never get my tastebuds around that one!!!

                  To each his own.....

                        Is that "bumhole product"?

Euugh, can't stand it, wife and son love it.

As the brilliant adverts have it, you either love it or loathe it.
