I have an Alaskan Malamute who looks like a big teddy bear, but if she see`s anything smaller than her (which is most animals) she want`s to eat them.
Whenever she hear`s a dog in the field next to our house she bolts up there and barks very loudly at them, then she runs down the garden as if to say "mum I`ve frightened them off". But if the kids up there call her she runs upto the fence wagging her tail and they fuss her.
Last night there was a Virgin hotair balloon going over the garden and she was frightened of it running all over the place with her winnie the pooh teddy bear in her mouth and growling at it with our other dog a Husky, just looking at her with a look of, you prat on her face.

Looking at these posts methinks Cats are harder than Dogs

In my house it`s the dog that rules. If Storm had her way she would eat the cat so we have to keep them separate. Crazy the cat is 16 years old and is going a bit senile, so we have renamed him Gerry (short for geriatric) as he has had 2 strokes and he wobbles a bit. Storm is only 2 and has a bit to much energy for his liking. The cat stays upstairs and the dogs down, I don`t fancy coming home to find the cats tail hanging out of her mouth.

My dog (Lurcher/lab cross)used to be friendly cats and go a sniff and say hello. Now after the cat attack he will rip em up, so no cats in my garden anymore, but they still walk along the wall at the back to tease. My other dog will chase em but is too slow to catch em. (Terrier Cross)

When I was young[bloomin long time ago!] we used to have a cat with six claws and bloomin big feet.
We lived in the country and often had Townies walking their dogs off leads. One day a dog decided to nose around in our garden, dunno what sort ain't good with dogs, anyway our cat decided to take offence and attach itself to the dogs face and off ran the dog with the cat still attached!!!!!!!!!!
