I gave up 2 hrs gardening in the sunshine to search for wet fish & double cream, in order to make him Gordon's Posh Fish Pie for dinner. (I'm vegetarian & the smell of fish makes me gag)

I haven't yet told him I want him to saw up some wood for me.

I went for an OH that only eats chip shop cooked fish...so I'll buy it for him if I want anything done - but keep him out of my garage/woodworking area - he's a nightmare with handyman stuff [much better at the ironing].

I love the smell of fresh fish. As a child, my dad used to take us to the fish market (other kids went to Alton Towers, but we're not bitter) and I used to hold my breath until we got right to the middle, and then breathe in all the loveliness. Then some hot peas and a pair of oysters at Eric's Oyster Bar
and back in time for Dr Who.

I still love a good fish market. The Portuguese ones make my heart sing!

Oh you are such a wrong 'un. When I was a nipper I used to sprint past the fish market in town and then wait for my Mum and sister to catch up. Always did make me gag and I still walk swiftly past the fish counter now.
