Oh goody - does this mean we can start officially talking about Christmas then??!! I was looking at some mags from last december in bed last night, and OH groaned when he walked into the room and saw my reading material!!

But time is definitely something that you seem to have less of as you get busier, but you still seem to squash more in when you are so short of it!!

              Because the universe is expanding.

Now then tell me, if the world is round not flat, is there any reason not to believe that the universe is also round. I consider the universe to be a lot like mars, round but with huge craters where there are black holes.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

Not sure a vacuum with interspersed objects of matter can take any shape.

I think the earth isn't quite round anyway...

I always thought it was an eliptical sorta shape - not quite an oval (and probably have the wrong word for it this early before my second dose of caffeine - I need to walk to the shop for milk and , um, weather not really good for walking that far.......)

I have a theory that the big bang involves matter being blown in all directions and being extended under its own propulsion continually outward. I don't buy the flat theory, as there would require a greater magnetic energy to repel objects from their natural course into a horizontal plane. There is no evidence of this, I also think that the blackholes are very much like our tornados, and that the gravitational pull of orbiting satalites on each other, has created a vortex of matter. This is far more likely to occur if those objects are flying in a spherical manner not a horizontal one.

I think I'll go and have a lie down now, must have got out of the bed on the wrong side today.

Whose to say our universe is not just a fat bubble around a deep fried mars bar.

J and I spent 50 and 45 years of time seemingly wasted at work ..... tho we acheived a great deal in our working life.

That allowed us the time, the money and the resources to live the rest of our time doing exactly what we want to do.

No more linear time for us (unless we have an appointment), life is now circular time, seasonal time, gardening time, French time, archery time, boule time, time we spend with people we want to be with, not people who you're forced to work with, in short, it's our time.

                              Remember:

                              Time flies like an arrow

                              Fruit flies prefer bananas
