Can't win with me I'm afraid! hate the rain........lots of my veggies have rotted & I can't indulge in my main hobby which is metal detecting.
BUT..........if it's hot & sunny I get paranoid about my 4 chinchillas. Their extremely thick fur makes them sucepetable (sp) to overheating which can be fatal. year before last one of them died despite every effort to keep him cool.......I was heartbroken. Now, what I need is inbuilt air con...........

You know what...........I don't think I've ever looked so WHITE in July! especially as I work and play outside all the time!

I'm one of life's dark haired albinos - even when the sun does come out I go more poppy red than golden brown.

Everything does seem to be taking ages to grow though (admittedly I only have last years experience to go on).

I might invest in some of those light boxes that people with SAD have, rig them all up on the plot and leave them shining on my plants...
