    No. 1 son was sent a book by his granny a couple of weeks ago - and it fell apart! So, son decided to complain (he is 9yrs old). He wrote a very eloquent letter to the publisher and, lo and behold, in todays post has come another copy of the book AND it's sequel!!!
    Thank you Random House!!!
    (I think it may have spawned a monster though...)

    well done there young man,no monster,just somone realising at an early age,and whats more important had the courage,to sort things out,GOOD FOR HIM.

      Isn't it great when you get good customer service? I don't think we praise enough those that do it well.

      Well done your lad too though for writing the letter.

        Maybe drop them a line to say thank you for such good service? Nothing like a bit of +R (positive reinforcement!).

          Absolutely. He always writes thank you letters (usually with one arm in a half nelson!!)

              well while we are at it, I had some fab customer service too the last couple of days. I ordered a new MP3 player from amazon, and the acrylic case which came from a different supplier. the case arrived the next day but when i took it out there was a small scratch on the screen area. I emailed the vendor and they sent a new one out the same day and told me to keep the old one too. the company was Innov8 GB.
