Flower quiz help?

My Mum is doing a quiz where all the answers are types of flower. She's stuck on these two:

A wine for Christmas (9 letters)

Alone in an onion bed (7 letters)

Any ideas

Can you stick a couple of clues and answers up, Seahorse so that we can see the style of the thing?
