Well, here I am still wide awake...
Can't blame the OH,he's not even snoring (for a change ) Guess it's coz I'm not doing much to get tired... I'm going to be swapping onto phone solitaire shortly though - the lappy battery's almost flat!
So, good morning to those of you who will be up and about shortly, and good night to those of you who haven't been to sleep yet

Morning - thankfully!
I was good and didn't switch the computer on. Brownie points should still be deducted though as I've nearly finished my book, the ironing's all done, I've caught up on the telly I dropped off in front of .... Somehow I think I missed the point!Last edited by Hashette; 03-01-2009, 08:03 AM.

Morning. Sorry to hear it Maureen, hope you don't feel too rotten later.
Are there any male insomniacs out there, or do we blame the 'ormones? Either female ones or the male hormone that causes snoringLast edited by Hashette; 05-01-2009, 08:01 AM.

I'm still waking up several times during the night (back pain) but I have been able to drop off again, because Mr S has stopped snoring!
It may be a coincidence, but he's put his Snore Ring* on his left finger now, instead of the right, and it seems to have done the trick. I'm got another pack of Zop here just in case.
I've stopped drinking too, which helps.
And another bonus ... he's just gone away for a week ... I can have the whole bed, and catch up on my sleep.
* we got it from Boots £20, but there are different colours, sizes & prices Stop Snore Ring- £ 7.99- Snoring - Embarrassing Symptoms - Chemist DirectLast edited by Two_Sheds; 05-01-2009, 08:27 AM.All gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.

Well, it certainly sounds like it's worth a try Although at the moment, quite hilariously, OH is sleeping downstairs on the sofa, because he says me having to sleep on my back (to keep foot elevated) is making me snore and keeping him awake!!!
Enjoy your week of peace T_S

Morning Hashette
And night night, coz i think i'm actually tired now.
although the wind howling round the house and blowing the curtains around isn't helping much (the window is stuck open, just a crack, but enough to let a fair old draught in tonight!)
