Gabbly Haze

Old Black & white film joke that

Ben et al,

Shortie & I were trying the gabbly jobby out & a few obsevations

1. I tied gabble to the side of the screen & then hit refresh & it logged me out & then in again
2. It didn't like it when I had the vine up & was trying to post at the same time as chatting
3. The box you type in is a bit small & the "jump to" box gets in the way

These are the first thoughts & are not critisisms just obsevations. Haveing never used a "chat room" before (well not sinnce the court case ) i've no idea how this compares.

Apart from that we had a great time & more folks should try it!

I had a little bit o' bother with the ole gabbly chat last night. I managed to log myself off when I thought I was posting something, then I managed to 'lose' the box for a while... I think I minimised it, then I couldn't find it again

I logged back in again.... saw nobody else there and got a bit fed up! I think I need lessons on how to use a chat room....!!

I suggested to SHortie that we try a midwek gabble to give it a good airing. I'll see what I can do but I think I'm out for the next 3 nights!!!

make a time and i'll join you i'm an avid fan of chat ....but gabbly is at the least unreliable... i tend to be online at the later hours of 10:30pm onwards if anyone wants to try about there...

Its quite an 'exclusive' thing though isn't it? If you turn up half-way through a thread you can easily quickly read it and catch up and join in (or just enjoy it and lurk). But how much 'chat' does the gabbly thing hold? Different thing I guess.

OK I'll see whats happening tonight as I'm supposed to be out painting signposts (I'm not a Vandal or an English nationalist, I doo footpaths in my spare time ) but the threatened rain may stop play. So I'll post here later on today when I know whats happening.

I should be around for a bit of a gabbly tonight.... so I'll pop in a bit later this evening and see who is around!

I'll probably be around lets say.... 9.30 ish onwards. I'm usually a bit of a late bird so I'll still be around at 10.30 onwards if anybody else is!
