i guess that's the joys of being a city fan though ..... as long as we don't go down, and we beat united, it's all that really matters
As long as we keep winning trophies you can have your irrelevent victories in the Manchester derbys
What part of manchester youfrom. I used to live in Withington and then Moss Side.
Still have family over there in Heywood, Salford, Tottington and Bury.

ashton under lyne ...... we play football, not lets see how many trophies we can buy this year ..... so to us city fans, beating you twice is like winning the world cup ...... but it's not all about trophies is it (oh yeah you wouldn't understand that being a united fan) lol

i'm just hoping that the tv commentators show us (wigan athletic) a bit more respect this season and DON'T always mark us down to lose! also i hope they don't keep banging on about wigan being a rugby town - so 70's! we've had a new pitch and it's looking good!

My OH can`t stand football so I can`t get rid of him when the season starts it`s not fair. In fact he`s proberbly one of the only men I know that doesn`t like watching any sport.
The only sport he likes(if you can call it that) is powerkiting on the beach with his buggy. The only problem with that is that he comes back with a broken collar bone and has to be at home for six weeks.
Why can`t he take up a less dangerous sport like golf.

My OH hates footie, too. I'm normally out and about on Saturdays doing other things, these days. Long gone are the days I spent the whole day travelling to and from Burnden Park and then the 'Bok. I am pretty certain that Bolton will NOT win the Championship, we'll lose to the bottom side (if we're in the top 6) and we'll sell one of the best players. Those are my predictions!
